Carefully pick your way over the moor to a local loch, perfect for a moment of solitude. If the weather is good, just sit in the garden with a cup or glass of something nice ...

A short walk from Shivinish B&B is the excellent Grimsay Community Centre, which  hosts the local Post Office. It also has a cafeteria and holds regular events and  sales of local produce.
